Postal Carriers Food Drive,on Saturday Our postal workers will pick up ‘non-perishable” food items which in turn go to our local food bank. Just leave your donation by your mailbox. This is an Annual and National event. To read the full article click here

Food Bank is open Saturday until Noon. every donation helps. Non Perishable items seems to go the fastest. Things like Veggies, canned meats & fruits, pasta’s & sauces. You can also donate clothing, furniture, toys. “EVERYTHING HELPS”
Rummage Sale Friday and Saturday. The Federated Church of Christ in Paxton is Having a 2 day rummage sale. The Church is Located at 221 W Center St Paxton, Il. For more info call 217-379-2442
IGA Cookout, This weeks cookout will be for Asta Care and they will be Having Ribeye Sandwiches. As always these cookouts go to help local groups and organizations who in turn work to help others.

Zumba thon , Amanda Nelson is hosting a “Party Hearty por tu corazon” event at Pells Park on Saturday May 14th from 1-3:30 pm. The cost is $5 and proceeds go to the American Heart Assc. To read the full article click here
